I've been in and out of PT for 12 years, had reoccurring appointments with my acupuncturist, massage therapist, and chiropractor with no "long term" effects. I was a licensed body worker in both FL and Ma, with many advanced trainings over the ten years I practiced. I’m also a highly sensitive person, and a yogi with over 40years of practice. That’s the embodied context and lens from which I experience Mira’s masterful work. I don’t let many people touch me. She is highly skilled, expertly trained, sensitive, strong, intelligent and thoughtful in her her practice. Her work is effienct and effective.
I saw Mira for a Craniosacral massage yesterday. It is in a lovely building located conveniently in Sellwood, SE Portland. Plenty of free parking and easy to get to. The craniosacral massage was very nice; her touch was both therapeutic and thoughtful. I didn't notice the window was open when I got there, and the large vehicles going by (and a little kid screaming) was a bit distracting, so next time I'd ask to close that. Therapists of such deep knowledge, skill and power, with the ability to heal on many levels, are rare. Therapists such as these could be called masters. Mira Luna is one of these. I went to her for work on TMJ and found the experience to be transformative.
I saw Mira for a craniosacral session and I am so impressed. (As a massage therapist, I know a great service when I get one.) She was thoughtful in her explanation of the session, her touch was gentle and welcoming. I felt the perfect amount of physical and emotional release during my time with Mira. She was able to communicate with my body and know what needed to be done for me to get positive results. I will be back to have more sessions with her!
