My experience with Dr. Wilks’s overall was amazing. Wilks is definitely a miracle worker. Sometimes appointments were brief but overall all my questions were answered, aswell as concerns taken care of. Thanks to her extra attention and close monitoring she was able to make sure my first born baby was delivered safely recommending an unexpected c section from being born and without knowing til the procedure going on , the umbilical cord had been wrapped around his neck 3x as well as having 2 whole knots in the cord itself. I’ve had great experiences with Dr. Wilks in the past; however, my past appointment was no longer than 3 minutes and I was completely brushed off. It was a very disappointing experience. I told her exactly what I needed, and it was not done. I have had to deal with these issues since then, knowing that most of these issues would have been resolved if only I had been taken care of properly.
Dr Wilks and her staff have been nothing but amazing. I have had some complications with my health and they have handled it so well from the doctor’s office to the OR. She is thorough, will make sure you have every question answered and does not make you feel rushed. I truly feel like she treats you with the most importance when you are in her care.
