I had a procedure yesterday called a Radiofrequency Ablation. This where a catheter is gently inserted into the vein through the skin. The catheter emits radio waves, which heat specific areas of the affected vein, causing it to close. The closed vein is absorbed into the body. Great staff, very informative, haven't gone back for procedure yet, but during the evaluation they did a phenomenal job of explaining what issues I had, and what was needed to resolve them. Would definitely recommend anyone looking for somewhere specific to go to to go to CVR.
