Everyone at the Center is kind and helpful, I have no problems with anyone. The big problem is that the wait time is crazy. They simply must find a way to shorten wait times. I don’t know if that means expanding hours, hiring more nurses and doctors, or simply scheduling less appointments on a particular day, but I had an appointment at 9:45 am today and an hour later am still waiting for my doctor. My kind two star review is given taking into consideration that my first provider was wonderful. Unfortunately, I was switched, and I acquiesced as my issues come up rather infrenquently. I have not cared for my new provider, as I found him to be self important, and we haven't connected. I was recently seen at the emergency department for kidney stones. If I could leave zero stars, I would. This experience was a deeply disturbing example of everything that is wrong with the American healthcare system. The lack of compassion, patient care, and even basic human concern was beyond unacceptable. I understand that many healthcare workers are overworked, understaffed, and underpaid, and I have genuine sympathy for the conditions they are asked to work under, but none of that excuses treating a vulnerable patient as though her dignity and wellbeing are an inconvenience. Our experience with this practice was completely unacceptable, and we will not be returning. My mother, who is disabled and uses a wheelchair, had already been seen by this practice for a new-patient appointment, during which she provided her insurance information, identification, and required paperwork. Her follow-up appointment was subsequently rescheduled at least twice before we finally arrived for the scheduled visit. We arrived on time and began checking in.
