Dr. Maloney has been my optometrist for years. He’s an EXCELLENT doctor and diagnostician. I recommend him 100% and he deserves the five stars that I gave him.
Staff was generally competent and attentive. Receptionists were less so, continuing to chat among themselves as I waited to check in.
Update: Last year, I went for a cataract evaluation. Spent two hours taking tests. The Doctor came in and asked me what I wanted to do? I said, "Aren't you supposed to tell me what to do?" I walked out and wrote a one start review. . . . Yesterday, 9/5/25, I went back only because Dr. Elizabeth Davis has started practicing there. She's only been in Sarasota a short time, but previously practiced at Center for Sight in MN for many years. Her credentials are impeccable, and she's performed over 50,000 cataract operations. Everyone at Center for Sight was pleasant, helpful and efficient. Dr. Schaub is excellent. I had a great experience.
