At Center for Sight, I paid $8390 to have a cataract removed and they sold me up and said I could see without glasses close-up, mid-range, and far away for $8900. My insurance paid for the regular cataract surgery, besides the $8900. I see worse now than I ever did and the doctor said there is no more they can do. Beware! I was diagnosed with cataract recently, and I went to Center for Sight, they oversold me their “advanced lasik,” and promised that I would never need to wear glasses after the surgery. $10,000 later, I am still not at 100%. I paid them $10,000 plus my PPO insurance. They are greedy and will charge you at every opportunity they get. They are still billing me even after they told me that $10,000 inclusive. James Lenhart, O.D is very rude and he does not care about the patient, made me feel like I was begging for his service, when we pay good money for 5 minutes of his time. I just had the worst experience in my life, after more than 10 years going to Center for Sight with James Lenhart, O.D, today my appt. was at 8:30am and I was there at 8:20am, the assistance called me at 8:30 to examine and put drops in my eyes and she sent me to the waiting room.
