If you have general joint issues, these therapists may work out for you however I had a pretty awful experience unfortunately. The evaluating PT was not mindful of my pain and was very aggressive with her manual muscle testing. My treating cervical PT told me incorrect information and was treating something that was irrelevant as to what was going on. I believe they made my issues worse and when I asked how else I could further treat my issues the PT responded “ a fusion” even though I had only tried a 6 weeks of PT.

I drove 30 miles for my initial SCHEDULED OT appointment this morning at 8:00 a.m. Waited for 30 minutes and was then told I need to reschedule my appointment as this appointment was supposed to take one hour and I had to be back to work by 9:30. Absolutely NO APOLOGY was given by the receptionists. I had to take PTO. I was hoping for an explanation and better experience, very non-professional.

My physical therapist, Dr. Cara at MoBap BJC Center for Outpatient Wellness and Therapy, is terrific. She is extremely articulate in explaining both the how and the why of the various PT post-concussion syndrome exercises I have performed. In her low key way she motivates me to do my best to speed up my recovery. She finds ways to keep repetitive exercises interesting and is always mixing in new exercises.
