I had a great initial vist with the clinic staff. Customer service was fantastic and the technicians are very good at what they do.
Well I've waited 6 weeks for my inserts to come in. I live 40 miles away and had a 4pm appointment to go to get them. Which means an hour drive each way in traffic. Neither foot insert was done correctly. The left foot was supposed to relieve pain on the right side of the foot. Insert was done completely level. So no chance for relief. The right insert was supposed to relieve pain on the left side of the foot but was made to relieve pain on the right side. Totally wrong. So I basically wasted 3 hrs of my day for nothing. After leaving a google review on the hanger clinic on Creekstone Dr in Durham Nc Scott McAllister,the clinic manager got in his feelings about a honest review basically had me and my nurse case manager to come in today just to tell us to find somewhere else to go for services. Instead of Scott McAllister trying to make things right or give a better solution he just gave us all my paper work and said go find somewhere else to me that want professional and that just showed me how much Scott and hanger care about there patients... read more
To me hanger is not a good place not because of the people but for the quality of work they put out the sockets they make sucks. I just got a new socket a week ago and already having to add socks. The only reason why I’m still dealing with them is because workers comp but as soon as my worker comp is done I’ve already found a new and better prosthetics to go to that have better options for you than hanger there’s more better places out there to go just do your research
