The medical services offered at UAF health center are comprehensive, but they are exclusively available to UAF students. Unfortunately, due to limited staff and physicians, it can be challenging to get an appointment. The doctors, though capable, sometimes seem dismissive, likely due to being overworked and understaffed. Always feels rushed or impersonal.
The counselors here are supportive and helped me get through college by helping me take care of my mental health. I have had nothing but good experiences from them.
