The management and human resource department at Aspire are incompetent, unprofessional, and shady. Do not consider working for this ill-equipped organization.

Counselor Skye, who was not my counselor, forced me to attend a "discharge" meeting with approx. 20 strangers. She then divulged extremely confidential information about me to these strangers. She is oblivious of HIPPA laws. This is a cult. I attempted suicide one week after discharge. I thought about seeing an attorney, but am writing a book about my two months in this draconian toxic environment and give any profits to charity.

DO NOT voluntarily go to Lakeside or take a loved one to ANY Aspire Health Partners facility. If you need detox or other treatment, find another place to go. What happens at this place and it's various locations is unfathomable. If you know, you know...If you left there freaking out and trying to figure out what just happened, please email me: ac_florida@yahoo.com and jaimieborys30@gmail.com.

They were terrible while on suicide watch they made me feel crazy and like I had no where to turn or no support. They threatened me and I felt unsafe.

Lack of professionalism. Seems like the staff only took the job for the money, because they didn't help(e.g. talk and listen to patients, actually pay attention to severely autistic patient) or know what they were doing whatsoever. My experience there was absolutely terrible, and the only positive parts were phone calls and visitation hours. If you're being sent to a mental health facility, I recommend going somewhere else.

Horrendously Traumatic!!!!!!! I suffused from PTSD as a result of the inhumane "treatment"?!? If someone you love is there, please, go to the facility, demand to see them and get them out. Then, take them to a real medical facility to recover.
