I was at CFD over 2 years ago. I never had the guts to say that it is a horrible place. Most of the staff did not know how to help people and especially adolescence. Often times the staff would compare us to other kids there, asking us “why can’t you just eat”? Making it not only a safe place to recover but a horrible place to ask for help. Please advocate for yourself and if you have chance don’t go.

My daughter was a patient there almost a year ago. They were absolutely phenomenal in the way they treated her and how they were able to handle the family dynamic. I would recommend this place for anybody who is looking for treatment for their kid. I am grateful for the help they provided for the entire family!

i was a patient at cfd from july 2022-september 2022. this was my first facility i’ve ever gone to, and before i went i made the mistake of reading the reviews which were very misleading. i understand that everybody’s experience is different, however a lot of the people who are talking badly about cfd must’ve went into it with the wrong mindset. cfd was the best decision in my recovery i ever made. the staff was supportive and involved, and the other patients were so accepting of every person who walked through the door with... read more
