I was at CFD over 2 years ago. I never had the guts to say that it is a horrible place. Most of the staff did not know how to help people and especially adolescence. Often times the staff would compare us to other kids there, asking us “why can’t you just eat”? Making it not only a safe place to recover but a horrible place to ask for help. Please advocate for yourself and if you have chance don’t go.
My daughter was a patient there almost a year ago. They were absolutely phenomenal in the way they treated her and how they were able to handle the family dynamic. I would recommend this place for anybody who is looking for treatment for their kid. I am grateful for the help they provided for the entire family!

worst treatment center i’ve been to. they tore apart our rooms looking for a label maker no one had. it felt like the only people who really cared was the support staff and cherry. i will say it opened a month before i got there, but having a therapist who never worked with ed’s before?? i had no erp’s with my dietician one on one. i continuously requested them but she pushed it off. i was not prepared for the real world at all. there’s so much more that my fellow milieu and i went through, which i won’t get into. they accus... read more
