i give this place one star because i did learn some beneficial things and i loved my therapist as well as the other kids i met here. my favorite staff were Emily and Sarah. they were both so kind and understanding. they genuinely seemed to like their job and care for us. i wish all of the staff could’ve been like that and were able to empathize with us rather than act as if we were a problem. i had fun experiences with the outings we had. the reason i give this such a low rating is because i faced antisemitism here and nothi... read more

This place is horrible. The staff made many of the patients feel so humiliated to the point where it felt like bullying. If some of the staff members didn't prefer a certain patient, you could definitely tell. This place felt like hell on earth. I felt uncomfortable and scared at all times. The staff LOVE to make accusations towards the patients. You must always watch what you do because it might be taken the wrong way and they will extend your stay there. I observed my sister's engagement with the facility, and as a result, she has made progress. However, I must express concerns about the therapeutic staff's proficiency, particularly noting the therapist's apparent lack of experience, having recently transitioned from a shadowing role. The family therapy sessions were consistently chaotic, demonstrating a deficiency in the therapist's ability to manage and de-escalate situations effectively. when i was at la habra it felt like a second home. most of the staff helped me a lot and basically saved me (like kriba, maddie, and nicole). some people and stuff that happened there did cause a lot of stress and anxiety. now being almost 2 years since my discharge, i would for sure recommend la habra cfd.

this place was literally a hell hole in itself. Trauma literally TRAUMA. things that shouldn’t even be happening at and EATING DISORDER TREATMENT. i’m absolutely astonished with how much they tried to make it seem like a recovery wonderland. they take absolutely nobody seriously, patients crying and begging for help and all they would do is look.
