I enjoyed this facility. All the therapists and dietitians are great!! I had to go to residential twice and decided to go back to Wellington because of all the support I received from every therapist and the dietitian (Dakota rocks!). A few of the staff members obviously had favorite clients and would treat some clients (me) differently which would make situations awkward and anxiety-provoking. It just depended on who was working. The doctor at this facility is on a power trip and goes against the word of the therapist against the words of social workers against the word of even other doctors in real hospitals. They do not care about patients and may have just caused the death of someone they could have saved. I am utterly disgusted by lies and manipulation at this facility. Do not recommend this place at all! They where so short staffed that patients could not get medications they needed, they also ran out of clients medications and doctors where unreachable. This place is not safe!
Please do not come to this location. First, the program manager, tracy, is mean and does not care about you. She doesn't engage with the patients at all, not even a 'Hi' when she walks through. She is disrespectful to clients and does not seem to have any one's best interest at heart due to the fact that she discharged people way before they are ready mentally, and even physically!
