CFD Chicago is by far the best treatment experience I’ve had! I attended the adult residential location in February 2025. I only stayed a few weeks, because of limited time off work, but in that short time I gained so much momentum toward recovery. Here are some of the things I appreciated most: The staff are amazing. I was very ill with nausea and a migraine two days before stepping down to php. Nurse Candace gave me permission to lay in my bed, but a few minutes later she came to my room. She said my therapist Katy texted her that I had just been trying to get out of group and insisted several times that I get up to go to group. I told her I was sick and couldn’t get up. I got home a couple days later and noticed signs of losing blood in my upper GI tract. My ulcer has been bleeding off and on since I got home and I had to go to the ER.... read more
This place deserves 4.5 or even 5 stars in my opinion. This place definitely helped me get back on track with my Eating Disorder Recovery. They had good therapists, good staff and are very understand and accepting of the lgbtq+ community. Especially trans people. I would recommend going. This place has definitely changed my life. I will forever be grateful for everyone there.
