This place changed my outlook on life. The staff is fudging amazing and were very comforting and helpful. They helped me open up when all I wanted to do was keep it inside and showed me what happens if I don’t fix myself. Thank you everyone there ur amazing.
Good idea, poor execution. We really need to deep dive and find better ways of treating mental illnesses across the board. Institutionalizing our youth is not helping them. It's more of a punishment/false sense of good parenting that many programs like this capitalize on. I would not recommend placing your children somewhere you are not 100% confident in their safety. I am speaking from personal experience. Stay Strong.
Loved all staff I enjoyed everyday. So kind and caring to patients.
I went here almost two years ago. The staff were awful, one of the staff members were often caught vaping in patient places. I saw the staff member vaping twice. I left this place worse then I got there. It got to a point of not focusing on getting better but focusing on getting out. Staff members got involved with the teen drama, and one of staff members downplayed a patients hallucinations.
Hey it's Stony. 😉 (This is a true story.) Yeah, it really was fun! -ish... I mean the amazing chef and the girls. The war stories and a staff basically glorifying his past PCP experiences was a trip! 🤣 This cowboy kid and a roommate ran away to get drunk with a hobo and showed back up at the house just obliterated! That stuff was comedy GOLD. I remember bumming cigarettes at a Cocaine Anonymous meeting, but the staff caught us smoking in our room! Thankfully, I went unnoticed.
