The doctor charged $285 for the five minutes or so that he spent consulting with me, during which time he largely ignored what I was telling him about the pain and discomfort I'd been in, before sending me next door for physical therapy- which made my problem worse. Several hundred dollars later, I'm back to square one, and once again looking for a decent doctor who will listen to their patients and not charge uninsured patients outrageous rates. Avoid this place at all costs.
I have had nothing but some of the friendliest and most professional staff I've ever been in contact with.Ive had my knee worked on and dr. Chokshi is like a ninja with the cortisone shots u don't feel a thing lol. And my surgery went great and healing up beautifully . Just wanna say thank you to everyone.
Amazing! I needed an appointment ASAP and they were able to fit me in next day, a Friday. My knee was badly swollen and super painful. They were able to take x-rays right then and there (super convenient!). I came back next business day, got fluid drained and a cortisone shot and I feel great! Staff was super friendly, and the doctor was great! He has magic hands for needles!
My experience with CBJC has been exceptional! Alyson Hernigle, PA-C, ATC was my first contact and helped me try early alternatives. When it became clear that knee replacement was in my future, I met with Dr. Biren Chokshi and he walked me through all the particulars. Before I got home, he had enrolled me in Force Therapeutics-- an online resource of instruction, explanations, exercises and encouragement.
