Took 6 phone calls over a month period for my mother to get a phone back to be told “I don’t have anything to tell you that’s why I didn’t call you back” because her test results were not back a month later. Took me one phone call to the hospital to find out why her test results were not read. If I hadn’t her test would still be on hold. Called the office manager twice to discuss how the staff handled this with no return phone call either. This is not how patient care should be handled.
After a referral from my PCP was sent here, I called to follow up to schedule an appointment with them as my symptoms (namely fatigue and joint pain) were worsening to the point I am now struggling to get through my day. The receptionists I spoke with were nice, but I was told that they won’t schedule me as the doctor said it would be a “waste of time” to see me since one of my lab results were negative (despite other inflammation markers being high) and to visit dermatology instead. My wife and I have been trying to get her an appointment for several weeks. She has a referral from her PCP. But, all we get is an answering machine, "leave a messsage," and they NEVER return our calls. So, I went in personally to see if I could get an appointment. The lady at the from desk acted like I was bothering her, said she'd take a message and pass it to Candy, and again, no response!! So, save your time and trouble. Go somewhere else if you can. This medical office and practice is absolutely horrible!
Well, I saw Dr. Turkiewicz today & was absolutely wonderful!!! He took as long as it needed to be to go over my full health history & for the 1st time ever I feel like I know myself better on the inside now! Other reviews were down on the front desk, but I came in with a bag of mints & was just myself joking around with the 2 I saw. They both were fine.
