The nurse assigned to me, Francine, made me feel a way I have never felt in a medical setting-so ignored, uncomfortable and like a burden upon my release. Had my first colonoscopy here. Natalie Penn and her team had great bedside manner. No pain or weirdness after. I was afraid of anesthesia. I asked the anesthesiologist for a little light banter, I was out at 7:15am and awake again before 8. I didn’t feel too drugged up after. I slept for most of the car ride home, then a hour at home, then got up and cleaned the house (as you’re not supposed to drive for 24hrs after). I had a pretty good experience, I had a D&C. felt there was enough staff. It was actually a big surgical suite where patients were prepped to go to different operating rooms for their different medical issues. All of the nurses and doctors that I encountered were professional.
