I was in the hospital for 8 days. My surgeon and I were deciding if I could go home or needed a rehab facility short term, just until I got to being able to care for myself again. When the weekend came, my doctor was off. The nurse was trying to get me discharged home. I argued that wasn’t what my doctor and I agreed to. She did not care and discharged me home.
