Hat geöffnet, wenn die Flagge weht. Das soll eher selten sein. Der Weg vom Parkplatz ist zwar kurz, aber steil. Wegen der Aussicht ist die 2. Tageshälfte besser geeignet. Der Blick auf den Kratersee vom Turm kaum besser sein, weil er niedrig ist. Der eine Stern bezieht sich ausschließlich auf den meist verschlossenen Tower.

Good spot to view the town from, steep walk up so make sure to rest at the chairs along the way if you need it.

you’re in the area! The views from the top are incredible, you get a full 360° panorama over Mount Gambier, including the lakes and surrounding countryside. The short walk up is totally worth it, and the tower itself has a nice bit of history to it. It’s a great spot for photos and just taking in how beautiful the region is from above. Peaceful, scenic, and well worth the visit, highly recommend making the effort to go up!
