I'm not qualified to assess the veterinary medical competence of this clinic, although I have no reason to think it's deficient. What I dislike about the clinic is iits heavy-handed management of customers. You get the feeling the owner(s) studied practice management as much as veterinary medicine. Everything about customer interactions is structured to hover cash from your wallet. In this respect, it feels like a car dealership. My 4 cats were recently taken on by Celtic Creatures after being with the same vet clinic for 11+ years. Our experience at our first appointment yesterday was INCREDIBLE. Dr Korven was so thorough with each of my babies, and she really took the time to educate me on everything we went through. I was upset to find out that issues with 3/4 of my cats were issues I brought to our previous vet but told not to worry - and I found out that each of these issues are big problems that need attention. I had to put my cat down a few days ago, and I can’t put into words how great the staff and the vet (I was so upset that I didn’t get her name) were to my cat Sandy, and so understanding and comforting towards me. Sandy was 17 years old, and she was a big part of our family, and it was so hard to do this, just like anyone who loved their animals and had to put them asleep.
