I have been banking with CEFCU since I was 16 (I’m 22 now). I never really had good experiences with them, as time went on. It just got worse and worse. About 1-2 years ago I had to get a new card about 5-6 different times in ONE year. All because they “turned it off for safety” then stated “I cannot turn the car back on, you have to come get a new one”. Washington staff is very nice. CEFCU is a good credit union in the area. Will give it a 4 star rating. The only complaint I have is that if you have a credit card with CEFCU, fraud alerts happen way too frequently for credit card purchases. If you do not opt in for approving/denying purchases from your phone/app , it is a serious annoyance to have to get ahold of CEFCU over the phone to get your card turned back on.
