Jamie did a custom build for our family home out in Arcadia. His homes are truly beautiful and very well built. I would highly recommend Cedrus Homes to anyone considering to custom build!
Recently I noticed what appeared to be a small water spot on my ceiling that concerned me. I thought it might be the result of my roof leaking. So, on a recommendation from a friend, I contacted the company Cedrus Homes. The next day the owner, Jamie Tipps arrived at my house and after a short discussion and inspection of my roof, my fears were confirmed. In December 2017 my husband & i purchased a home in that had been remodeled & sold by the owner of this company (it's even one of the homes in the website's gallery). The home turned out to be nothing but a disaster. He laid laminate floors without the correct padding needed underneath so within weeks the floor began to crack. When we removed it we found out he had put cardboard under the floor (so unprofessional) we had to end up replacing it with ceramic tile 5 months into purchasing the home. I thought I would share my experience hiring a young general contractor who owns a general all around construction company which at that time I hired him was called Shoot the Shingles, which at the time of this review has been changed to Cedrus Homes. His name is Jamie Tipps and at the time of hiring him, I needed a new cedar wood fence installed on my property.
