When I mentioned to him that I worked in astronomy, his entire demeanor changed, and he became quite withdrawn and tense. Since I got my lens prescription from him, I could tell my left lens was completely wrong: my vision through my left eye was very blurry, which has been causing me severe headaches for almost three years now. This was confirmed yesterday when I went for an appointment to an optometrist on the mainland who said my left lens was completely incorrect. Thankfully, this will finally be fixed.

Rudest doctor I’ve ever met. Prescribed me contacts that scratched my cornea so bad I can’t wear contact lenses anymore. When I told him they hurt he said “get over it.”
My husband James just enjoyed his appointment with him today. Impressed that he didn't have to dialate his eyes and through his records from previous O.D. he scheduled Lazer surgery with Dr. Brandon Lee. And he is my O.D. too. We recommend Cedric Mitsui O. D. in Hilo. J & K Fernandez
