I hosted my “Over the Moon” baby shower at Cedarwood last weekend and it was perfect! We had full reign of the venue, and my friends and family were able to set up and decorate exactly how I wanted. I loved the cotton candy champagne flute wall for everyone to start with! Amy from Cedarwood was so helpful and amazing in getting things set up and ready for the 30 person event. I had the opportunity to visit Cedarwood for the first time when they hosted a local artisan night. Made quite a few sales and met some new friends too! Made a point to go back for a fundraiser for the Ovid fire victims and the wings and drinks were fantastic! We love supporting a local business that serves great food and drinks in such a welcoming atmosphere. If you haven’t been yet, make plans to go now! You won’t be disappointed!!
Cedarwood Tavern was absolutely gorgeous when my fiance and I went on a tour to see the place. We were both speechless upon pulling into the Tavern. As we entered and walked through the venue my fiance and I knew that’s where we wanted to host our rehearsal wedding dinner with our close friends and family! Sara gave us our tour and insured us that we would have the rehearsal dinner that we won’t ever forget! Looking forward to visiting again soon and hope to finalize our wedding!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE it here!!!!!
tldr; It's a beautiful space, and the music was great, but be careful going to a catered/ table service event for now. We went for their Valentine's day dinner, and it ruined our evening. I normally cut a lot of slack for hiccups, but this was a special occasion, and it was definitely a new experience for the venue, and maybe the wrong day to test something out. We have experienced this venue on a few various occasions. They try to do fun events live bands, football party etc but our experience is this place doesn’t run smoothly. The food is mediocre and pricey. The bartenders aren’t attentive tend to be disorganized the times we have been there. We love to go out for live music but the bar needs to be able to handle the capacity serving people timely. Update: much improved and experienced bar service they handled the crowd.
