Makes me feel so good to have my FIL here. The staff is all extremely friendly and caring. The place is welcoming and beautifully designed. My heart is full.

My mother and I are so happy we chose Cedarhust of Topeka! It's been such a blessing to see her so cared for. Since she moved in last February she had an accident that changed her level of care. The degree of professionalism among the nursing staff all the way to the food service has helped my Mom stay there through recovery instead of a more long-term nursing home. The facility is only as good as the workers are. My wife worked here. She just quit today because they tried to force her in on our Sabbath. She was highly esteemed by all the residents and coworkers. But a new scheduler came in and tried to change things around. My wife has 2 full time jobs. Just doesn't make sense why they would not budge. There are so many others sitting around doing absolutely nothing. Maybe it's better this way. They will see what they are missing. What a shame.
