Dr. Munford seemed like a very kind knowledgeable surgeon. Unfortunately, my husband’s colonoscopy got coded wrong and because of that we ended up being billed $5000 from the hospital. My main complaint is that Lorraine, Dr. Mumford’s office receptionist is one of the most impatient, condescending, unprofessional person I have ever dealt with in any medical office. Never got to see Dr. Munford even though I had a referral from the VA. His receptionist Nancy is doing everything in her power for me not to get seen for a reason I’m unaware of and she has been rude to my health insurance about the three month process it has now been.

Dr. Munford is a great surgeon who is very knowledgeable, experienced and very easy to work with. However, his receptionist is very difficult and rude. My primary care physician sent over a referral and I never received a call from the office despite confirming the referral had been sent. A month later I followed up myself and made the appointment. I wish I could add more stars... Dr Munford did a great job. After I had surgery and rested up, my golf game was so much better, my handicap dropped by almost 50%!!!! He didn't even advertise for that with the surgery. Best surgery I have ever had!
