I was asked to upfront pay $440 for my medical procedure, later found from my insurance that I only need to pay $85.61 as my out of pocket as rest have been covered by my insurance. Initial information provided to my 16yo regarding choices and supportive information was done well. Once the decision to terminate is made, an ultrasound is performed to confirm gestation of fetus. I had an awesome experience at Cedar River Clinic. I was panicking, as Planned Parenthood didn’t have surgical abortion appointments for weeks, and CRC fit me in next day. The entire office was kind and empathetic, nonjudgmental, and quick. Amy, Jen, Priyal, and Dulce were so sweet and professional, and even had a little humor to lighten my mood.
