So many issues with new build homes. I’ll update my review if they fix these during the 1 year warranty period. But so far not great experience buying a home built by cedar ridge. How does a new build home have issues that a typical 30+ year old home? Squeaky floors everywhere, door hinges are squeaky, carpets are warped, door paint chips off each time you open doors? Cedar ridge homes are DR Horton level. Used a lot of cheap materials and so many imperfections. I hope they fix all these issues during the warranty period.

If I could give 0 stars to this builder, I would. We bought our home brand new in 2022 and the quality is awful. The subfloor is uneven in most areas of the home, which means our floors now squeak and creak loudly. This shouldn't happen in a newer home. The builder also cut corners and used nails in the subfloor instead of screws. We had a flood in our home last year due to a loose connection on our cold water pipe underneath the kitchen sink (plumber negligence) and the builder took no fault at all. Sold many of Cedar Ridge Homes over the years from Estacada, OR up to La Center, Wa. Never a bad experience. Construction timelines always on schedule. Quality construction with no bait and switch. Lots of floor plan options to accommodate buyer needs. tons of finish options to choose from. Great communication and happy clients!
