Edgewood is egregiously ill-trained to care for the elderly. They allowed my Mother with Alzheimer’s to leave the premises and the police were called. They then had one of their own care-givers physically assaulted my Mom and tear large wounds in her arm on two occassions. Later they allowed her to go 12 days with a UTI in which they failed to obtain a urine sample. Concerned that she was septic we finally were forced to rush her to urgent care. my mom has been there since july of this year, everyone is loving & shows her great care. ( & respect). shes adjusting to her lack of independence but feels at home more each day..I pop in when ever all different days & hours..I have never been anything but thrilled wthe love &, care she receives..I feel blessed we choose MBEstates
I would not recommend having your loved one stay at Morningside in the West End. Our first hint of a problem was on move in day. Morningside was not prepared and did not have everything needed to ensure the proper care of our loved one. The staff was not responsive to the residents needs. They let our loved one suffer needlessly because of their lack of attentiveness. Hospice left specific directions for the nursing staff which they did not follow. All the staff are great with the residents. It really is thier home! Took extra care with family...
The place was clean, homey and nice staff. Our extended family was always welcome
My mother moved in to Cedar Ridge about 2 yrs ago, it is very clean, staff is great and friendly we can see they truly care for al the residents. We have seen great improvement in management, the new Adm is great and very caring, always makes time for us and from what we see the residents also. Activities and meals have improved. We are very happy.
