ALWAYS MAKE AN APPOINTMENT!! You will always be waiting, but without an appointment you will be camping out. Bring a book and a beverage. Also, choose one of your days off to attempt this feat. That being said, the clerks at each station do a great job and deserve battle pay.

After waiting over four months for my physical ID arrived on site after they told me it was being held in Cedar Rapids was communicated that it had been destroyed. They asked for another $10 to re-issue when I broke down crying because I’m taking care of my veteran, father traveling back-and-forth between Iowa and Alabama and did not have the $10.
