My mom recently stayed at Cedar Pointe for a few weeks. All of the staff members were very kind, helpful and compassionate. They responded to our requests in a timely manner and made sure that mom had everything she needed. The medical director, Dr. Roy, is awesome, as was the PA that was overseeing mom's care. I would definitely recommend Cedar Pointe!

I had the pleasure of staying at Cedar Point Health and Wellness Suites for 18 days this past month for some medical treatment. First of all, the facility is awesome. It is designed with comfort and a feel of home. The rooms are spacious, includes a small refrigerator and a flat screen TV. There is a beautiful courtyard, dining facilities a onsite gym. My mother was at CPHWC for over a month. The staff was caring and friendly. Room and bathroom was cleaned daily. Administration was a bit unorganized but I was more concerned about patient care than the paperwork. I would highly recommend! Also, Dr Roy is an excellent geriatric physician.

If you need good nursing care, then I suggest you find another facility. My mother went into this place on a Friday, and by Monday they had to call an ambulance to take her to the emergency room. She came in with a combination feeding tube and suction tube. When we checked her in, the staff insisted they did this all the time and knew what to do. The first night, my mom pressed the call button 4 or 5 times, and someone would say, “a nurse was on her way,” but the nurse never showed up. It did not get better. One nurse tried ... read more
