When I was there back in 2020, I had my own room and the staff was attentive. This time (Aug 2025 - mid-day, not even after-hours busy time), I was stuck sitting in a waiting room AFTER Triage (waiting on yet another seat in a curtain "slot"), it felt like i was shoved into a homeless or disaster shelter. The next patient was literally a few inches from me and we could hear each others private medical conversations, coughs, pain moans, vomiting, etc (which didn't help me stay in a relaxed state). I would give zero stars if possible, you can tell everyone at this hospital hates their job because the way they treat the patients. I waited for 3 hours in agony crying from pain before I went to St.David's where I actually got medical attention. In the 3 hours I was waiting, I saw people on the floor waiting, a man asking how much longer and the lady at the window spoke to him as if she was annoyed. This is very very bad place to visit, they will checking but not one will check 2 + hours and facilities are very bad. This is not an 1 time experience and I had multiple time with same experience. One of the worst ER to visit in emergency.

I went in to the ER at my doctor’s request with very scary symptoms. I was taken directly back and immediately checked for a multitude of problems and/or causes. I was made very comfortable and the entire staff, including the janitorial staff member that came in, was understanding and clear in their explanations of what was happening. A possible cause, medicine to treat symptoms, and a follow-up with a specialist and I was out of there in about 2 hours. Very positive experience!
