I had to go in for an MRI. Scheduled my appointment and showed up. Only when I showed up did reception tell me they didn’t have my prior authorization. I had to do self pay; the MRI staff were great. Been over a week and my insurance and I have called multiple times and left messages. No call backs. I’ve now been on hold for 27 minutes right now just to talk to someone on there general line. After a recent cancer confirmation we were desperate to find an imaging center as ARA had over a month long wait. Luckily Seton Cedar Park had an opening within THREE WEEKS. I am utterly amazed about how long it takes to get someone in for scanning for what is truly a life or death situation. Whoever answers the phone in the scheduling department is one of the most condescending unfriendly human beings with whom I’ve ever had the displeasure interacting. I should have read the reviews. THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY THE WORSE!!! What a waste of time! 3 different appointments cancelled at the last minute. online register is horrible. Then I decide to look at google reviews and they are exactly what I experienced. Runaway from this establishment. Don't waste your time like I did.
I rarely give poor reviews, but this one must go on record in case it helps someone else. I was charged $300 for an MRI when I know full well that my insurance covers this 100%. I tried talking to the young lady at the front desk and explained that I do not get charged for something my doctor referred for me and my insurance approved. Go anywhere else but here for your imaging. You cannot make appointments online or in person, you must call and they rarely answer the phone. A rude reception desk and inefficient service made this my last visit.
