Absolute rip off! Ask your doctor to refer you to some place else. They wanted to charge me $450 for an X-ray with insurance!! I went to ARA instead on the same day and paid $95 for the very same service. And no, it’s not that my insurance wasn’t accepted by them, it was, but their charges are astronomical, so your out of pocket portion will be just as outrageous!

The positive things... I didn't wait long. I was in and out for a gallbladder ultrasound in under 45 minutes. I did the paperwork at the front desk and paid the out-of-pocket and was called in 2 minutes after. The ultrasound itself was not desirable. While the lounge was nice and soft the technician was awful. Not a people person at all. There was a second person in the room and she talked to her several times but all she said to me was: breath in and hold, breath. Probably 30 times or more. I would give the staff who performed my MRI a 5 but have to give this facility a 1 star due to all the problems I've had with billing. My doctor pre authorized my MRI with "Ascension Seton Imaging" but they billed my insurance as "Cedar Park Regional Medical Center." My insurance denied the claim and said that I needed to get the claim resubmitted under "Ascension Seton." The billing office agreed to do this on 3 separate occasions over a 3 month period but it has never happened. Do better!

Be aware of potentially inaccurate cost estimates from the front desk. I was quoted $100 for a single X-ray after checking my BCBS HDHP insurance (deductible not met). I paid this upfront, only to receive another bill for $200 a month later. The final cost was triple what I was led to expect.

I was very disappointed with my recent experience at the Ascension Seton Imaging Center. First, they do not offer digital pre-check-in documentation, which means patients must arrive at least 30 minutes early just to fill out paperwork. This is very inconvenient and requires taking extra time off work. Second, the staff made a mistake and booked my appointment for the wrong date.
