Owners were absolutely amazing, helpful and friendly. Room was clean, comfortable bed, shower was the best shower ever. Walked to get dinner, about 200m. Only thing we didn't like was how bright the rooms are from the outside hall lights but we understand they are on for security and safety of the people staying so still get a 5 stars in my eyes.

We stayed at the Cedar Lodge last week for two nights. The motel owners are great. We had to book quickly because they had a family member in the hospital. It was no problem booking while we were driving to Townsville. They are so nice and pleasant; the rooms and toilets are super clean, and the beds are nice and comfy, with Pay TV as well. Great location, too—a shopping mall, two service stations, a coffee shop, and eateries are a short walking distance from the motel. Well done; we will definitely be returning, 10/10.

Sharing review on behalf of family… We recently had to travel to Townsville for three weeks due to major surgery and we chose to stay at Cedar Lodge Motel. The owners, Chantelle and Gavin were absolutely amazing and couldn’t do enough for us, during what was an incredibly stressful time for us, despite them having to deal with all the dramas that came with so much of Townsville recently being in flood. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them. We would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!!!
