First time staying here and everything was great! Perfect location for our activities. Room was clean and looked freshly renovated. Staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. Only complaint we had was the bathroom setup. There is nowhere to put personal items since the sink is outside the bathroom. A shelf or cabinet would be great and shelving in the shower since there is also nowhere for personal items in the shower.

Our rooms had entrances from the parking lot. The rooms were clean and the fixtures were in good condition. The beds were reasonably comfortable. The air conditioning worked well. The wifi worked. The breakfast was comparable to other hotels. The outdoor grassy recreation area and fire pit / patio areas seemed nice. Our kids really enjoyed the pool, which was a good size for a hotel pool. Might just be the best kept secret in St. Ignace. We stayed in the Spruce Suites. Our room was spacious and clean. I loved that we had our own entrance plus a small patio area out back and did not have to walk through a noisy hallway. Beautiful views and located near a lot of parks and restaurants. Reasonably priced. The breakfast buffet was frequently stocked and had a nice little selection of fruits, muffins, cereal, yogurt, juice and coffee and even a waffle maker. We love stopping here on our way back from our upper pennisula trips every year. The kids love the campfire, hot tub and pool. They also have free breakfast. The rooms and pretty nice. Theyre not fancy but theyre just what you need and a good price! They have all different types of rooms as well. We stayed cedar last year and prefer the lodge rooms better. We love this place especially for the price right by the bridge and all the surrounding activities.

Very clean rooms and lobby. Comfortable beds and pillows. Friendly staff. Conveniently located. I would prefer brighter lighting in the rooms. I'd also suggest handicap accessible rooms add safety bars in the shower and near the toilet. However, hotel appears to be in the process of remodeling. So, maybe that will happen in the near future.
