Our stay here was very enjoyable and warm. The owner goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. When we thought we would have to leave a day early, we were treated with kindness and understanding - luckily, we were able to stay for another night! The entire place was very quiet and made us feel like we were the only people in the hotel, even though there were many guests in the rooms near and above us. Price was great & included $10 casino free play for each person. The room was clean but needs a few updates. The gap in the door was quite large which it’s a good thing it wasn’t cold outside and I didn’t wake to any critters in the room! The bed severely needs replaced - it’s so soft u sink in so far that honestly you feel like you are being encapsulated. And your feet are about a foot higher than your head. I’ll say the shower has great pressure though…

My fiancé and I had the best stay at cedar hill! Check in and check out were seamless. They offered free breakfast, but we never made it down to try. They also offer communal fire pits and if the owner is around he'll help light them! The place is gorgeous, close to the ferry to macinac island (they offer a shuttle service throughout the day!) and have kind and friendly staff! The room was spacious and very comfortable. The balcony waa nice but viewed the street. Breakfast wasn't that good. Eggs were dry. Sausage was gone at 8am and didn't get refilled. I'm not a waffle person but they did have a waffle machine. The gentleman at check-in was very nice. We got there late but he waited up for us.

I mean… where do I even start. Victor (Vivek) is outstanding… smart, handsome, strong, helpful, intelligent, hardworking, he is everything and more you could ask of. I have stayed multiple times and every time he is the man! Id come just for him. He WOWS! Me. Best hotel in the UP. Shout out to Victor a one man show that puts his best foot forward and doesn’t disappoint!!!
