Cedar Crest is an exciting alternative to the typical Northern New Jersey senior living community. Here, you'll enjoy an active, independent lifestyle, with added peace of mind that if your health ever changes, the continuing care you need is right on campus.

the place is wonderfull only the social worker JAYSON GRANT is racist.
They CARE about the residents and for the residents!
Wonderful facility for continuing care senior living. My parents have been there for 6 years!
After the initial deposit is paid and your loved one moves in, good luck ever getting anyone in the financial department to answer the phone or give you the courtesy of a return phone call. My aunt was a resident for many years and she passed away a little over 2 months ago. Thus far, Cedar Crest has reaped an additional two months interest on the money. I called them upon her death and was asked to call again towards the end of September. It is so disheartening that they are adding additional hardship to the loss of my belo... read more
Mom spent 14 wonderful years in a beautiful independant living apartment in Madison Green and her social life blossomed! She made friends, went on trips, joined groups and enjoyed the beautifully kept grounds. Now she has moved to the assisted living building and the care is wonderful. I have looked at other placements and none had the warm and welcoming feeling that Mountain View Gardens has. From the wonderful staff in Rehab to the attentive nurses and aides that care for her now, we are very happy.
This is one of the friendliest retirement communities in the Northeast! The prices and value you get are outstanding. Five dining rooms, an indoor pool with glass windows looking out at the mountain, 200 clubs, wonderful, welcoming and interesting people living independently, a beautifully kept campus, a true home to "age in". Average age is 81 with people remaining active. A true find and its head and shoulders above other retirement communities. So glad to be here!
We have lived here now for just over a year and while it’s not perfect (no place is), it is just right for us and we are happy here.
After 3-1/2 years of living at Cedar Crest we have never looked back & regretted the move here. We are enjoying all that there is here because we did not wait until our health & minds were feeble. As I tell people "pack your bags & come" you will enjoy life at Cedar Crest
I have lived here for over a year. It was the best move that we have ever made. Our house sold quickly and we had a lot help selecting the correct apartment for us. We walk a lot, swim in the pool and look out of our tree covered view to the patios below us. I would recommend that any one could find comfort here. The amenities are very much like a hotel.
