RecommendedMy in-laws lived here for 8 years and up until Covid, I thought Brooksby was pretty special. But now since watching how they handled COVID, I now think Brooksby is more than amazing ... this community of residents, employees and the management is a magical place of all things good. Clean, upbeat, fresh, simple ... Brooksby is a lovely community and we loved having our parents there!
RecommendedThe staff is compassionate and professional, we have so many things you can participate in if you want to, the food is good, they bring in quality programming, we are a college campus for seniors. I worked got Erickson for almost 15 years and have been a resident for 6 years so far. I love it and highly recommend that you visit us!
RecommendedMy husband and I moved to Tallgrass Creek from a house we'd enjoyed for 45 years, located just 8 miles from where we are now. After all those years, you can imagine the accumulation of 'treasures' we had to part with. But we had agreed early on that we would skip the transition from big house, to townhouse or condo, then in 10 years move again to a place like Tallgrass Creek. I'm so glad we did. Natural disasters do happen however 24 hours after a tropical storm we are extremely frustrated that my father is alone, in the dark with no AC. Only cold water to shower ? He is 85. One of the reasons we thought his one bedroom apartment cost almost $800k and monthly fees total almost $5k was to ensure his safety and well-being. So now over 24 hours have passed and he is still alone in the heat without tv, internet, lights, AC or a phone. Hi, Danielle: We know how frustrating this power outage is to our residents. Lantern Hill and much of the State of New Jersey continue to have power issues as a result of Tropical Storm Isiasis. In fact, more than 1.4 million homes have been affected since yesterday afternoon. Our leadership team is in constant contact with officials from JCP&L, the public utility that is working to restore full power to the campus as rapidly as possible.
