father in law was in this facility for respite care through Hoparus. I can not express the lack of professionalism, care and organization. He was there for 2 days and one night. During this time, his meds were not given on time, staff only checked on him once (if that's what you call stepping into the room and laying eyes on him). My sister stayed with him over night and when it was time for his meds, from his care package, there wasn't a nurse to be found! For an hour, my sister tried to find the nurse as my father in law w... read more

Terrible. My uncle was there. I told them he needed an evaluation and medication for anger episodes. They never followed through and then I was in Florida and they sent him to the hospital and would not let him return. Then they charged us for two weeks because his suitcase , clothes a clock and some pictures were in the room. They never told me they needed to be removed. I had to make long distance arrangements with the help of the hospital for him. They charged us over 3000 dollars, after they would not let him return for ... read more

Very clean and hear the food is great. The staff is very friendly, you almost feel like home away from home. Denise McHenry

My dad was in the memory care unit at Forest Glen for a little over a month. During this short time he developed several painful pressure sores all over his back, shoulders, feet, and sacrum, from where they would seat belt him into a wheelchair every day and leave him sit in the same spot all day. Some days they wouldn't even get him out of bed, we went there at 4:30 pm one day and he was naked, for anyone walking by to see, he was laying in a bed completely full of urine, and he had nothing to eat or drink all day. He also... read more

Please don't subject your loved one to the incompetence at this place. It might look nice but not only are they understaffed, the management is incapable of recognizing medical needs or a person in advanced stages of death, more than likely from an infection caused by them. . They won't listen to family; it's all about the money and for some reason they don't like to allow hospice evaluations, even when a person has two hours to live they claim, "he isn't hospice appropriate yet". Horrible horrible experience. Let my loved o... read more

Staff could not be better..in particular OT, PT and Nursing. Very clean and everyone steps up to help if it is "their job" or not. Food is good and they work to give you what you want. Would rather be home but this is a nice alternative.

BEAWARE!! This place looks nice & they act like they care! THEY DO NOT. Residents lay in bed for hours after asking for help. The are extremely low on staff not to mention harly anyone on the weekends. Night help us AWLFUL. My mom has gotten worse since she went in. She has received bruises, meds she doesn't need. They only shower residents when they feel like it. Please don't leave your loved ones in a place like this. YOU BE SORRY.
