Easy to moderate hike on a 65⁰ cloudy day. Not many people on the trail and there are three little river crossings. I could see how people may get in trouble on a hot day. No matter what hike you're going on, always bring water. The permit is only $6, if you don't buy it I hope you get caught and fined. Good luck out there!

Great day hike, 6.8 miles round trip from trailhead. Easy down hill to the waterfall. Big enough to take a dip. Lots of people, will get hot on the way back. About 1000ft elevation gain so remember to bring enough water. Beautiful views, a great distraction. Highly recommended.
