This place seriously changed my life. Not just from addiction standpoint but self-worth, self love and processing trauma. I've made some forever friends and the staff was always very willing and helpful. I loved this experience, the first couple weeks were rough, but so worth it!
I was going to enroll in their rehab program. But reading their intake paperwork, I came across this item in the fine print: "If you die while receiving treatment from us, we get to keep your body." No I don't think so. Treatment for behavioral health issues needs to be grounded in trust. I did not read all the other paperwork they shoved in front of me, but I wonder what other weird things they were hiding in there. Creepy things like this totally sets the wrong tone for this sort of treatment. So I went elsewhere.
From a parent perspective- I am so incredibly grateful to Supervisor Kevin Cullen for his compassion, understanding and expertise in the field. I had a great doctor, I loved her! At some point my doctor left this practice, she advocated for me, She cared about me, she helped me. My doctor leaves the practice, i leave colorado. i asked this place for an emergency supply of my meds till I could get them next month... lady said in a condescending tone, "you haven't been here for 6 months and you need to come in to see a doctor to get any type of medication.
