I AM HOPING SOMEONE SEES THIS MESSAGE AND CHOOSES TO SEEK TREATMENT SOMEWHERE ELSE. There are countless ways in which Cedar fails their patients, but the number one is pushing unnecessary medications. Not only were they giving my pregnant roommate oxy, but she had no idea why. Additionally, multiple patients were prescribed medications they did not need in order to extend their stay...a little fishy if I do say so myself. 0 stars for therapist Daniel Gustafson. Out patient therapy. Late to every virtual therapy meeting (how... its virtual) 30 minutes late to the only in person session which lasts 1 hour. Had no accountability for being late and wasting my time. This made the entire process which im new to awful, gave me anxiety wanting to even deal with it all because they didnt respect my time. Im now searching for another facility, thanks for wasting my time over several months.
Our loved one was subject to administrative dismissal for breaking rules like sneaking coffee into their room. Okay, one needs to follow the rules; this is part of getting back on track. The policy that unfolded was stunning in it's urgency, lack of warning, and callousness to the well-being and safety of a patient. I will never be able to stress enough how much CeDAR changed my life for the better. They got me on track with the right methods I needed, and gave me a foundation for getting my life back together. They genuinely care deeply about each and every client, and I never felt unwelcome nor as anything less than a human being. They made me realize that I matter, and my life was given back to me.
