This review is for their food truck. The guy was complaining about how people don't tip and how he won't be back at the place he was currently. Dude had a terrible personality and we paid 31 bucks for mush. I would hope the restaurant is better than the food truck.
The empanadas were lame plain ground meat unfortunately,the waiters didn't want to be there. The crepe was hard. I had my Argentinian friend coming from Miami and I was so excited to take him to this place I d never been. I was disappointed being latina.
My husband and I have enjoyed cecilas food truck in the past. We decided to check out the merrimon location for Sunday brunch recently and had a lackluster experience. First, we lingered at the front entrance before someone waved us down from the back of the restaurant to seat us at a table. We have been going to Cecelias for years, but something has changed for the worse. Their French onion soup that we had a couple of days ago was served warm, not hot, had VERY few onions and the cheese was not crisped on top as it used to be. We also has the mussels with pasta. The mussels were delicious, but the sauce was oily and there was almost no pasta at all. The bread served with the dish wasn't toasted.
