Cdphp, you guys should really look into OrthoNY. Combative nurse pa's who order tests and don't read them to the patient. The so called Doctor she sent me to didn't read it either. "She ordered a muscle test and didn't schedule a follow up to discuss the findings." 1st test with cdphp, (a second test was with another insurance co.) and im sure they charge cdphp and definitely me and the other insurancecompany. One of the worse insurance providers in existence. If it weren’t because of my employer, I would not have chosen CDPHP. Their plans suck, and cover nothing, meanwhile charge a premium for nothing.
Recently cdphp denied my glp-1 which i was put on not just for weight management it was also prescribed for my heart disease it was a great medicine lowered my blood pressure to the point where I didn't have to take blood pressure medicine anymore lost some weight and study says that it cuts the risk of heart attack by 50% but that's not important to cdphp it's all about the bottom line for them this was a miracle drug for a lot of people
If I could give 0 stars, I would. I’ve had coverage with CDPHP through my employer for a few years now, and the experience has become incredibly frustrating. Last year, I was prescribed a medication as part of the process to qualify for GLP-1 coverage. CDPHP required that I try this medication first, even though I explained that it hadn’t worked for me in the past. I followed their requirements anyway.
