Highly recommend ccp west Millcreek to anyone looking for pediatric care. They have always been very quick to getting my boys in when needed. All the staff there is very friendly. Especially our favorite nurse, Brenda. They are all rockstars!
We wanted a doctor who was closer to us, and we were impressed with Dr. Burns who saw us at Children's Med Express. Unfortunately his staff doesn't seem to care. We saw the PA who incorrectly took our sons weight, then casually tried to explain it away even though the incorrect weight would have put him in the lowest percentile for his age group. Horrible. What is the point in having sick appointments if you can't even get one? And their 10 minute policy is BS. I was literally pulling into the parking lot in the '10 minute' time frame and they still couldnt see them. I tried to check in whole I was almost their, as the last appointment I actually checked in early and was overlooked and lied too. I ended up leaving because I was waiting for 1.5 hours. This office has wasted so much of my work time it isn't funny.
We have been using UPMC pediatrics for the last 3.5 years. From the moment we entire the office we are welcomed with warm smiling faces from Sandy and the front office staff. The nursing staff and the providers are all compassionate and knowledgeable. My son feels comfortable going to appointments and loves to say hi to everyone he sees, and he is pleasantly greeted by the entire staff, not just the provider he is seeing that day.
