I'm a Geller (application of gelcoat) at a major yacht production company. We recently started moving away from using Polynt (CCP) products. Whatever they use in their formula plugs gel tips at an insane level. I recently gelled a 50 ft hull with a 526 tip and plugged it no less than 20 times. When you look inside the barrel 2 months before the expiration date, the gel has hardened around the edges at the top of the gel.
