Very disappointed in this appraiser. We ordered an appraisal a little over two weeks ago for a land purchase. He is now notifying us that he is cancelling the order due to "...one, I am booked up and still catching up from before and after the holiday, and two, it is not overly complex, but there is no comparable to even come close to supporting the high purchase price..." He cancelled via Email and the closing is in 6 days. Very unprofessional way of doing business!
Booked them to do a land purchase appraisal and was quoted a 5 day turn around. Over 2 weeks later he cancelled with our lender stating that he was too booked up and still trying to catch up and that he couldn't find good comps. Cancelled via email 6 days prior to closing.
