Dr McCarthy is old fashioned and he doesn’t diagnose multiple sclerosis in women. Instead he puts them on wrong medication and sends them home in pain. He does NOT allow his patients to switch doctors or get a second opinion, even within his own practice. He is an old, bad neurologist and should retire and stop taking money for bad work. Seriously. Don’t go to him if you have a choice. God bless you. Be your own advocate and find another doctor.
I went to a neurosurgeon associated with CCHC for lower back pain. His secretary was supposed to set up an appointment for a pain shot in my back the same day I saw the doctor. 3 weeks after she was supposed to set up this appointment I called her to find out why I haven't heard from the pain management center yet.
