We are only week three of setting up homecare again for my mother and we have issues. Today Friday October 10 they don’t show for evening shift. Contact office they call caregiver they say they were there and got her ready for bed WELL that is a lie as I can assure you nobody was there my mother doesn’t have dementia or any cognitive issues and they didn’t show. If I could give zero stars, I would. CBI Home Care has been completely unreliable and unsafe in providing care. They have repeatedly failed to show up for scheduled visits on a strict, time-sensitive schedule. Missing these visits is not just inconvenient—it’s dangerous. On top of that, it’s nearly impossible to reach anyone in management who can take responsibility or resolve issues. Some of the HCA's are great, then they get reassigned, and My Mom gets new ones that don't even know how to unlock her door, then they call her and get mad because she can't come unlock it (she has mobility issues) hence the reason she needs homecare. The most recent one, told her that they were the manager and because my mom couldn't go outside and open the gate (it wasn't locked, just needed to be pulled harder) That maybe they just won't come to help her in the Morning!! This place is absolutely poorly ran/organized. Information is not documented properly. Nurses don't show up or don't follow instructions and just leave. The last thing you need when recovering from a MAJOR surgery is stressing about your care and well being because the care you are receiving is so unreliable and unorganized. Proper care is all I am wanting. I am really disappointed with the service recently provided for me. I requested to have the same person assisting me with my shower four weeks ago and I have been sent 4 different people since then. I am tired of explaining to the people that come. The quality of care is not their priority , they just want to get it done as fast as possible. I know there are many people to look after but we are still entitled to the best care possible.
