CBI was a nightmare for me. So the hardest times of my life, they were not there. Oh they say there's your support system. They'll treat you with dignity and respect. That is far from the truth. They promote with people that aren't even qualified for the basic entry level job. Severely traumatizing and dehumanizing. Absolutely do not go here. It’s a detention center for mass holding, not individual help if you’re in crisis. Look to other resources. Doctors are only available for brief daily meetings. Phone calls are limited to whenever the phone is available. Up to other 50-100 people with you on armchairs, no beds, no ergonomic chairs you’d expect in a medical facility… I have scoliosis and it worsened my back pain from being confined to it for over 72 hours. This is your classic example of a clinic full of good people trying to make the world a better place... and getting almost zero resources to do it. All of the employees I've met are kind, dedicated to helping as they can, and usually completely overworked. It's super sad, honestly. The condition of the front office show it in spades. Because this clinic has outreach to those who struggle the most, sometimes those struggles are brought to the clinic and the lobby.
