Injured my neck 6 months prior to meeting with Valerie at Cayuga Medical Center Physical Therapy. Having explained my issues at the beginning of our first appointment, Valerie reviewed the x-rays and pinpointed the muscles that needed attention. With this information she selected easy exercises for my first week. Each session thereafter time was taken to discuss any issues with the previous week and additional exercises were introduced and I was instructed the correct way to do them. I've been working with Matt Byer's at Cayuga PT the past couple of months after an accident and he is honestly amazing! He's kind, listens really well, and asks great questions. He is also really attentive to your needs/concerns and provides good instruction and advice. Matt is really great at what he does and goes above and beyond for his patient. PT can be stressful when you are uncomfortable but Matt keeps things light and encouraging. Definitely grateful to be working with Matt towards recovery.
