After experiencing a bout of nonstop vomiting I was taken to Cayuga medical where I received inadequate care. This is not my first vomiting episode so I have a good idea of what should happen when I go to the ER for tummy troubles. I informed the nurses that they would have a hard time poking me for blood work and IV so they should get a more experienced nurse. Hospital is very out dated and they could run a broom and mop around in some of the hallways and rooms. Staff seems nice but when you ask questions the answer is always not my department or I just work here.

Hi, I rarely write reviews, however, tonight (August 15at around 7 pm) was exceptional! I came into the emergency ward at Cayuga Medical by ambulance. I was diagnosed with a horrid case of vertigo! I quickly received a room and Anna and Luke took professional care of me and nursed me back to health! I have never met these two brilliant people before! Anna and Luke are in a league all of there own! Five stars for both! Stella and Ali Avcisoy

I have received A&E care on 3 continents and 4 countries and I have not experienced better than I did today at Cayuga Medical Centre. The service was fast and professional. All staff had time to explain the process and the data as they emerged. The facilities were excellent. The pattern and logic of the investigations was flawless. Discharge and what to look out for and how to handle possible scenarios was fully explained. I am very grateful as are my family who were treated with respect.

After falling down the stairs And sustaining a spinal and head injury, I made the conscious choice to go to CMC over Guthrie. This was a huge mistake. I got there at 11 PM and was not seen by a doctor until 7:30 AM in the lobby for two minutes. No one ever offered me a bed to lie on or a comfortable chair. I was never given the ibuprofen. I was promised at 7:30 AM.
