Went to the emergency room on 12/5. The nurses were outstanding, efficient, helpful. The Doctors were also outstanding. They made this as painless as possible.

Not worth going. Nurses and doctors just stand around. Front desk employees get annoyed if you speak to them. I see why Cayuga has a hire hold and struggling financially. T

They are absolutely horrible I went there today and waiting for hours (when they were not busy and you can see ambulance pull up too, they were for sure NOT busy!) finally saw a doctor in a side room or ER and they put in orders several hours later of ZERO treatment or even anything from staff I left. There were a few others there with me all day who also waited forever to not be treated as staff bounces on balls and goofs off. After experiencing a bout of nonstop vomiting I was taken to Cayuga medical where I received inadequate care. This is not my first vomiting episode so I have a good idea of what should happen when I go to the ER for tummy troubles. I informed the nurses that they would have a hard time poking me for blood work and IV so they should get a more experienced nurse.
